Certified secure data wiping
Deleting files or resetting Windows doesn’t remove your data. We wipe drives using the purge methods set out in NIST SP 800-88, verify the result, and issue a certificate for every drive with its serial number.
This is the same process our sister business, RE-USE.SYSTEMS, uses for IT asset disposal, so it’s built for businesses that need an audit trail — and it’s just as useful for a single family laptop.
What we do
- Verified overwrite or cryptographic erase for hard drives and SSDs
- A certificate per drive: serial number, method, date and result
- Physical destruction for failed drives that can’t be wiped
- Business batches with collection and a full asset report
- Optional buy-back or free recycling of the wiped equipment
How long: Same day for a few drives. Business batches are scheduled with you.
Prices
- Single drive wipe with certificate from £15

Questions
Is a factory reset enough before I sell my laptop?
On a modern laptop with encryption switched on, a full reset that cleans the drive is reasonable. On older machines, and for business data under UK GDPR, a verified wipe with a certificate is the safer record.
Do I get proof?
Yes. Each drive gets a PDF certificate with its serial number, the method used and the verification result.
