About us

RE-USE Repair is the computer repair workshop of RE-USE.SYSTEMS, based at the Windmill Centre on 23 Westgate Street in Launceston.

Formerly Rebooted Systems

Until 2026 we traded as Rebooted Systems. The name changed to avoid confusion with an unrelated company. Same people, same workshop, same warranty on any repair we did under the old name.

Engineering background

The business was founded by an engineer with a background in RAF and MOD equipment — kit where a careful fault-finding process and a written record of every job are standard. We work the same way on your laptop: diagnose, photograph, quote, repair, test, record.

Why “re-use”

RE-USE.SYSTEMS refurbishes and resells IT and aviation equipment and handles secure disposal for businesses. That means we have a steady supply of tested parts and the tools to wipe drives to an auditable standard. It also means we’d rather fix something than sell you something new.
