Privacy notice

We collect only what we need to repair your device and contact you about it. All of it is stored on our own servers in the EU.

Who we are

What we collect and why

• Your name, phone, email and postcode — to identify your repair and contact you about it (contract).
• Your device details and the fault you describe — to carry out the repair (contract).
• Repair records — kept for 2 years for warranty claims, and 6 years where they form part of an invoice (legal obligation).

The data on your device

We only access files when a repair needs it, for example data recovery or moving your system to a new drive. Any copy we make is deleted once you’ve confirmed you have your data back, and in any case within 30 days of collection.

The booking assistant

If you use the assistant on the booking page, your messages are sent to an AI model to fill in the booking form. We use a provider that processes data in the EU and doesn’t use it to train models. Messages aren’t stored by us once the booking is made; only the completed form is kept. You can always book using the form alone.

Where it’s stored

On servers we run ourselves, hosted by Hetzner in the EU. We don’t use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we don’t need to keep it by law. Email us. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
